Commencement Week and Honors Day activities and programs. Includes miscellaneous commencement week schedules of events, programs, and invitations; minutes and correspondence of the Commencement Committee; form letters to faculty, students, and parents; Commencement speeches; newspaper articles; reports; and miscellaneous. Also includes class wills and prophecies of some of the graduating classes. The collection does not include Commencement programs (Stout Series 93). Commencement was originally handled by the Registrar although much authority still resided in the President as is evidenced in these records . From about 1964-1971, responsbilities were with the Assistant to the President for Special Services until they were transferred to Student Services. The records of the Assistant to the President are found in this collection.
